Breathwork
You didn’t come this far not to give it a go

Box Breathing
This breath training has been around for a while. It was and I believe still is used by Navy Seal divers for stress management and focus. Pretty powerful stuff.
Why does this work?
In a nut shell box breathing:
Distracts your mind by counting. Your mind can not focus on more than one thing at a time. So by counting you are redirecting your mind to a specific job to focus on.
The pattern of 4 seconds, along with the rythmic movement of the breath signals to your brain that you are safe, (Like singing a lullaby to the mind), stimulating the vagus nerve.
Heart beat slows. You've probably noticed how when your stressed, anxious your heart rate speeds up. So too your stress levels. By slowing your breath down you automatically slow the heart rate which in turn reduces your stress levels.
